Cool looking gun!
What kind of ray gun are you looking for? I have some friends at another board that know all about them.
I'm always looking up Ray Guns, Space Guns etc. on EBay looking for this one sparkling tin space rifle I had as a kid.
Still ain't found it, but this is cool-

It's (I believe) the oldest toy I remember having & it might have been a hand-me-down from the Big Kid, down the street (which could date it in the mid to late '50s.)
Best as I remember, tin rifle with a see through red barrel (for the sparks)
Yellow & blue w/stars (?) maybe
Machine gun like firing sound
Closest I've seen is the Tom Corbett Space Cadet sparkling space gun - MARX -
but the barrel end ain't right...........

,btw, & haven't seen it~
Edit- the paint, colors & style of the rifle have more of a Japanese (of the period) feel to it then the TC gun-
